Deus Ex: Mankind Divided PC patch fixes lots of bugs and crashes
Critical issues are the focus of build 524.7.
The PC version of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided has been riddled with issues, so Square Enix has released a new patch to hopefully augment the experience in a good way.
The patch updates the build to v 1.0 build 524.7 and does the following:
- Fixed crashes caused by third-party programs interfering with the game.
- Fixed crash that occurred after viewing the intro videos.
- Fixed issue that could cause a crash at the end of the Prague intro scene.
- Fixed mouse invert setting not being displayed correctly in the options menu.
The notes also remind everyone that playing on Very High/Ultra settings with MSAA set to 2x, 4x, or 8x setting can be "very demanding. We recommend everyone that is running at recommended spec or higher to start with the High Preset and MSAA turned off, and then tweak the options to optimize your experience."
Of course, more problems from the patch could happen, so there is a beta version of the existing game that players can roll back to if needed.
