Adult Swim Games has announced it will be publishing an all-new ToeJam and Earl game, called ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove.

ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove feature both aliens returning to Earth to once again get funky while running away from crazy Earthlings. ToeJam and Earl find themselves on Earth after TJ decides to borrow the Rapmaster Rocketship from Lamont so they can take Latisha and Lewanda for a joyride. During their ride, they decide to show off the ship’s sick sound system while orbiting Earth. TJ asks Earl to push the red button, causing their ship to crash. They need to find the pieces of their ship while dealing with less-than-rational human beings.

The game promises to offer classic console gaming while also offering new features, although what those features are have yet to be revealed.

Adult Swim Games is working with Humanature Studios to bring back both ToeJam and Earl to PCs and consoles in 2017. A playable demo of the game will be available at PAX West on the 6th floor inside rooms 605 & 610.
