Steins;Gate educates us on the dangers of time travel on Steam in September
Steins;Gate is such a unique and memorable visual novel, and in a few weeks, it'll be available for all to play on Steam.
One of our favorite visual novels to ever be created, Steins;Gate, is finally headed to Steam.
Steins;Gate was originally developed by 5pb and Nitroplus and released on the Xbox 360 in Japan in October 2009, eventually making its way to additional platforms including the PlayStation Portable, Windows, iOS, PlayStation 3, and the PlayStation 4. While its PC version launched in North America in March 2014, this marks the first time the title has become available on Valve’s popular digital distribution platform, Steam.
The game follows a group of tech-savvy young students who discover ways to change the past through the use of a modified microwave. As you could expect, things don’t go according to plan as they find themselves caught in the middle of a conspiracy with SERN, the organization behind the Large Hadron Collider, and John Titor, who claims to come from a dystopian future.
The Steam version of Steins;Gate will support 1080p graphics and promises 30 - 50 hours of reading time.
Steins;Gate will launch on Steam on September 8.
