Path of Exile: Atlas of Worlds expansion pack launches on September 2
The expansion offers a reimagining of PoE's endgame content.
Grinding Gear Games announced Atlas of Worlds, an expansion pack for Path of Exile scheduled to deploy on September 2 (via Venture Beat).
According to the developer, Atlas of Worlds lets you rejigger the base game's endgame using a map generator. The generator works in tandem with a crafting system to let you alter map generation and the contents of those maps.
Grinding Gear found that a majority of players spent the bulk of their time grinding smaller maps; their hope is that a map generator, which can be used to advance them to higher levels, will encourage players to branch out. High-level maps bequeath better items, incentivizing forward momentum.
As for other content, Atlas of Worlds boasts 19 extra bosses and 30 additional areas. Grinding Gear overhauled old maps to give them a polished look, and new maps aren't just random; they fit within a new narrative.
Grinding Gear released a trailer to provide more details on what Atlas of Worlds holds in store. The expansion will become available on September 2.

I love PoE....BUT they really need to sort out the drop rates or stuff, iv played the last 3 seasons and never had a single exalt orb drop, in fact out of my 1400+ hrs iv had around 5 drop for me. A 6 link has never dropped for me and iv never been able to link one.
Crafting is a joke and is way to expensive.
