Just Cause 3: Bavarium Sea Heist DLC coming next week
If you have the expansion pass, you'll get it a week early ... tomorrow.
Just Cause 3 launched its first Sky Fortress DLC in March, and its Mech Land Assault DLC just before E3, so it must be time for another mission pack. Oh, look, this one takes place at sea.
Bavarium Sea Heist will take Rico out to the seas of Medici for the first time, aided by a new rocket boat called the Loochador, which has miniguns and multi-lock missile launchers to take on the Black Hand fleet. Players will use the boat to infiltrate a Stingray base, a research facility of Eden Corp, to try to steal the Eden Spark, a powerful lightning gun.
In addition to the new missions, the DLC will also offer a Boat Invader Challenge, where players can get mods to give the Eden Spark new abilities.
The pack is coming to Air, Land and Sea expansion pass holders (see what they did there?) tomorrow, with a full release to everyone on August 18. For those without the pass, the DLC will cost $5.99.
“Our aim with the Air, Land & Sea Expansion Pass was to completely alter the way players tackle the game and we’ve achieved just that,” Marcus Andrews, lead designer of the Air, Land & Sea content at developer Avalanche Studios, said in a press reelase. “Each of the three packs of new tools allows the player to wreak havoc in fresh, creative, and unique ways that ensures both new and existing fans of Just Cause 3 will have hours of additional content and an enormous number of ways to approach any situation.”
If you haven't gotten the other DLC, you can still pick up the expansion pass for $19.99.
