Xbox boss says Microsoft has 'things to say' this Fall
What kind of things? We hope it's Project Scorpio.
While we know Microsoft won’t have an Xbox media briefing at this year’s Gamescom, it appears the company still has something up its sleeve as Phil Spencer has confirmed it will have “things to say” this Fall.
Xbox boss Phil Spencer revealed Microsoft would have more to discuss this Fall through a response to a fan question on Twitter. Here’s the exchange:
@BeastFireTimdog I'll miss Gamescom but @aarongreenberg will be there. We will have things to say this Fall, we'll find the right times.
— Phil Spencer (@XboxP3) August 4, 2016
In a follow-up tweets, Spencer says Microsoft could be considering to hold an even later this Fall at a new venue. “I want to visit some fans I haven't visited before,” he writes in another tweet.
At E3 2016, Microsoft had a lot to reveal, which included a new Xbox One, Dead Rising 4, and of course, Project Scorpio. Considering the number of announcements Microsoft had, we aren’t surprised it’s skipping Gamescom this year, but with Project Scorpio waiting in the wings, we’re sure it’s just chomping at the bit to reveal what’s coming up next for Xbox.
