Batman: The Telltale Series PC version gets patch to improve performance

It appears Batman and PC don't mix once again as Telltale has released a patch to help improve Batman: The Telltale Series' performance.

Batman: The Telltale Series released across nearly every current gaming platform, including mobile, but its PC version appears to be suffering from performance issues. Fortunately, Telltale is aware of these issues and has released a patch to hopefully fix some of them.

One of the biggest problems players are having with Batman: The Telltale Series is its poor frame rates, which Telltale believes is due to customers either running the game on a PC with an integrated graphics card, or it could be due to using outdated graphics drivers.

Today’s patch will automatically have the game running on dedicated graphics cards while also adding a graphics setting option. The setting allows players to either select textures that are high quality, or textures that allow for better performance if you’re running it on older hardware. An alert also will now pop up to remind the player to update their graphics drivers prior to starting the game.

In our experience, this message only pops up the first time you start the game with today’s update, so don’t be too concerned about it showing up each time you play Batman: The Telltale Series.
