2K and Hangar 13 have released a new trailer for Mafia 3 that’s a first in a series of six features that will highlight an important character to the game. Today, we take a look at Mafia 3’s main protagonist, Lincoln Clay.

The trailer, which is titled “Lincoln Clay - The Soldier,” gives players a brief look at Lincoln’s background. Lincoln grew up an orphan and was raised on the mean streets of New Orleans, Louisiana. He’s returned to the city from Vietnam, to then see his family betrayed by the mafia. He was shot and left for dead, but he’s returned with a new family to seek out revenge for his original family. With their help, he’ll wage war against the mafia, and it isn’t going to be easy.

Mafia 3 is scheduled to release on October 7, 2016 on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game will have a collector’s edition that will feature its soundtrack, collectible art prints, an art book, replica dog tags for Lincoln Clay, drink coasters, and a voucher for its Season Pass. Anyone who pre-orders Mafia 3 will receive the family kick-back pack, which includes three exclusive weapons and vehicles.
