King of Fighters XIV will be released for PlayStation 4 on August 23, and to help build some more enthusiasm for the game, publisher Atlus has announced a demo coming out tomorrow.

The demo will have seven characters from the game's roster of 50 available for players to try. Players familiar with the series, which has been around since 1994, will recognize three returning characters - Kyo Kusanagi, Mai Shiranui and Iori Yagami, but four newcomers have also been added: Sylvie Paula Paula, King of Dinosaurs, Nelson and Shun'ei. The Playstation blog has a quick guide to the seven fighters, with their strengths and weaknesses as well as their level of difficulty.

In addition, the game's antagonist has been revealed as Antonov, the mysterious creator of the tournament. Check out the story mode trailer for the game.
