Star Wars Battlefront gets offline update coming next week; Death Star DLC in September
You finally won't have to rely on others in order to have a good time in Star Wars Battlefront.
The highly-anticipated expansion of Star Wars Battlefront’s offline offerings will soon be available as EA has announced a new Skirmish mode will be available for all players on July 20.
Battlefront’s Skirmish mode will allow players the option to face off against bots in solo missions or with a co-op partner using split screen, although split screen is only available on console. The game mode can be played on a variety of difficulty levels and across two modes: Walker Assault and Fighter Squadron.
EA has a number of free in-game events taking place this Summer as well as additional Hutt Contracts for new weapons, log-in rewards opportunities, and open trials to try out Bespin. Then in September, Battlefront’s third expansion, Death Star, will release with more maps, new weapons, new Star Cards, and two new heroes, one of which EA teases is one we’ve been “patiently waiting for.” Our guess? Salacious B. Crumb.
