Microsoft won't hold Xbox media briefing at Gamescom 2016
It appears Microsoft currenty doesn't have any more tricks up its sleeves, and instead will be holding a FanFest at the show.
Microsoft won’t be holding a media briefing at Gamescom next month.
Microsoft has confirmed it will be attending the show, but will not be showcasing its latest games and products in the form of a media briefing. Instead, the company is planning a new and “more intimate” Xbox FanFest experience for those attending the show. Microsoft doesn’t say what exactly this experience will entail, although it plans on sharing more details in the near future.
Considering all of Microsoft’s announcements at E3, we’re not that surprised to hear the company won’t be holding a media briefing at Gamescom. The company unveiled the Xbox One S, teased the upcoming Xbox Scorpio, and showcased a number of upcoming games, like Gears of War 4, Forza Horizon 3, and Halo Wars 2. We can’t imagine Microsoft held back much to warrant another 90-minute briefing.
