Google reportedly developing its own Android Wear smartwatches
If this turns out to be true, we see only good things for technology if Google decides to enter the Android Wear ring.
Google may be getting in on the Android Wear game as the company is expected to unveil not one, but two devices to be released some time after its new Nexus phones are unveiled.
The Android Wear devices, which have been confirmed by reliable sources of Android Police, are being geared towards most consumers. The first device will be the larger of the two as it’ll feature a number of technologies within its frame, such as LTE, GPS, and a heart-rate monitor. The second device will be smaller and lack LTE and GPS.
The publication says it’s extremely confident Google is currently developing its own Android Wear devices as it has confirmed this information with multiple sources.
We hope this information turns out to be true as we can only imagine what an Android Wear device straight from Google could deliver. While we’re pleased with the current trend of Android Wear devices, we think it’s about time Google enter the ring to show these OEMs what kind of experiences customers should be having with their watches.
