Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse releases in the US in September 2016
You have two months to prepare for the apocalypse, so start stocking up on those canned beans!
Atlus has revealed Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse will release in North America on September 20, 2016.
We first heard about the latest Shin Megami Tensei game back in October 2015 when it was titled Shin Megami Tensei IV: Final. Since then, the game received a slight name change for its Western release, replacing “Final” for “Apocalypse” to better reflect the game’s epic nature.
Even though the game’s name has been changed, we’re happy to see the SMT IV: Apocalypse still features scheming gods and monstrous demons, all taking place within a post-apocalyptic Tokyo. The title also overlaps with the previous SMT IV, and will even feature some familiar characters from the title, although players won’t need to have played it to enjoy SMT IV: Apocalypse.
In addition to its release date reveal, Atlus has also revealed a trailer for SMT IV: Apocalypse that highlights the game’s cast. You can check that trailer out below:
