Halo 5: Guardians is now available to play for free in order to celebrate the launch of its largest update yet, Warzone Firefight.

Xbox One owners will be able to download and play Halo 5: Guardians for free for the next week, although you should start downloading sooner rather than later as with all of its updates, the game now weighs in at over 80GB. Just remember that you’ll need to be an Xbox Live Gold member in order to enjoy the game for free.

If you feel the need to play Halo 5: Guardians after is free trial period ends on July 5, then you can purchase the game for its reduced price of $30. Although with a week of playing Halo 5, you can probably get through its main campaign easily. So all you'd really need after you're done with its story is its multiplayer offerings.
