During Sony's E3 press conference, Hideo Kojima came onstage to reveal Death Stranding, his upcomging game project. 

While it was not confirmed, this appears to be repurposing many of the ideas from Silent Hills, the Konami game Kojima was creating in conjunction with Guillermo DelToro before it was cancelled. 

This is most apparent in its usage of actor Norman Reedus and the small infant he holds that bears resemblence to the infamous sink embryo from Silent Hills' now-defunct PT demo. 

No further information about Death Stranding was provided other than the fact it is currently in development.
