During their E3 2016 press conference, Ubisoft revealed more details about the open-world military game Ghost Recon Wildlands. It focuses on a dangerous new drug, as you play a squad of elite special ops agents dropped behind enemy lines to disrupt the cartel's operations.

In an extended gameplay demo, four co-op squadmates went after "The Stewmaker." The team infiltrated his base of operations from different angles, before being spotted and then pursuing him with motorcycles and a helicopter. They then loaded him into the chopper and made their getaway for an extraction.

The studio also announced a release date of March 7, 2017.

Looks good, but needs to be taken with a spoonful of health skepticism. Sadly it has gotten to the point that it is safe to consider a lot of what comes out from Ubi as marketing movies, rather than an actual representation of what the game will be like.

This is pretty much it. Ubi has trust issues with me, I don't ever trust them and they've done a great job over the years re-enforcing that lack of trust. Not a huge fan of 3rd person either...

It's not unique to Ubi, it has never been. All e3 trailers from all devs/pubs look way better than the eventual release.

As I watched the gameplay and heard the commentators words in my mind, I kept wondering how would a single player achieve success in that scenario. Would the software cater and downgrade the threat depending on how many concurrent players are playing? Rainbow Siege does not.

Lots of questions and this makes me hessitate to purchase.
