The Division servers going down today for at least five hours
The Division's usual server maintenance period is here, but its times and its length have changed drastically. Could big changes be planned?
Ubisoft has announced the servers for Tom Clancy’s The Division will once again be going down for maintenance on the morning of June 2, or evening of June 1, depending on your location, with the downtime being extended from its usual three hours, to now lasting a total of five hours.
The Division’s servers will go down on June 2nd at 2am ET, or June 1st 11pm PT, which is one hour earlier than its maintenance period previously has started. With an expected downtime of five hours, that means Agents should expect The Division’s servers to come back online around 7am ET / 4am PT.
As of now, Ubisoft doesn’t have a changelog available to show what updates are being rolled out to The Division. In prior server maintenance periods, Massive Entertainment has at least informed Agents if there were no changes coming to the game. By saying its changelog is “TBA”, and given the increased server maintenance period, we think it’s safe to say Agents should expect some kind of changes to occur once the servers come back up.
The Division recently received its major 1.2 Conflict Update just last week, making this the first server maintenance period taking place after the update's release. We'll keep a close eye on what kind of updates Massive has planned for The Division, so be sure to check back once the server maintenance period ends.
