Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Trilogy outed by major retailer for release next week
Want to take a trip down memory lane or experience the original Moder Warfare games for the first time? Then next week is the moment you've been waiting for.
Those looking for a dose of Call of Duty nostalgia should be looking forward to next week as Activision will apparently re-release the Modern Warfare trilogy on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
The retail listing for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Trilogy popped up on Best Buy’s website recently, which will of course include Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. The 3-disc set will retail for $30 and will include each base game and the Modern Warfare 2 Stimulus map pack.
Unfortunately, this only appears to be a last-gen compilation as the listing makes no mention of any current-gen platforms. Those looking to experience Modern Warfare on current-gen should look at the premium versions of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare as it’ll include a remastered version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Trilogy has yet to be announced by Activision, but the Best Buy listing points to a May 17 release.
