Gran Turismo Sport was announced in October of last year, but not much has been said about Polyphony Digital's next installment in the franchise, other than it may be launching this year. Now, Sony is teasing us with news that they will be holding a two-day event in London next week, and we are invited via livestream to see all-new footage.

In a post on the European PlayStation blog, the company announced that streaming of the event, including the new GT Sport trailer, would begin on May 19 at 1:45 ET / 10:45 PT and carry on for more than two hours. Here is a more detailed listing (times are ET):

• 1.45 - 2 pm: Run down of the day’s events, news and a showcase of the brand new GT SPORT trailer
• 2 - 3.30 pm: Nations Cup Pre-Season Test and the Manufacturer Fan Cup Pre-Season Test of the FIA Gran Turismo Championships
• 3.30 - 4 pm: Trophy ceremonies [1st, 2nd and 3rd place for each cup]

The livestream will happen on the official GT YouTube channel. On May 20, there will be more activities, including limited spots for fans to attend if you live near the event. The company promises more details soon via its social channels.
