Need for Speed received a reboot last Fall, which we thought wasn’t one of its best racers to date, but that hasn’t stopped Electronic Arts and Ghost Games from announcing a new Need for Speed game expected for release in 2017.

In Ghost Games’ latest update regarding its latest Need for Speed game, the company keeps the announcement of a new Need for Speed game short and sweet. “We are now building upon the foundations that have been laid with Need for Speed and delivering our next game in 2017,” the company says.

Ghost Games also plans on working with the Need for Speed community in order to receive feedback on the next Need for Speed title, saying “there will be multiple opportunities to bring many of you into the studio in the coming months.” The developer doesn’t say how community members can score a visit to studio, but it encourages fans to continue tweeting, commenting on Facebook, and submitting feedback on its forums to help shape the future of Need for Speed.
