Get 13 free Hearthstone card packs as part of Whispers of the Old Gods expansion launch
Whispers of the Old Gods, as well as every player's 13 free packs, are available now.
Excited for the 134 new cards offered in Hearthstone's Whispers of the Old Gods expansion pack? You can score 13 free card packs right now as part of a deal Blizzard is running to ring in the expansion.
Blizzard announced the promotion during its Whispers of the Old Gods livestream, and Reddit user AdamNW broke down how to go about claiming your baker's dozen packs. First, log in during the release event and you'll get three free card packs plus a C'Thun and two other cards, guaranteed.
Next, win two games in Standard format to add an additional five card packs to your collection. Last but not least, win seven Standard games after winning the previous two Standard bouts, and you'll get five more free packs.
"That's a value of about $15 or 1300 in-game gold," AdamNW wrote in his post. "This is more than they've ever given away for the game so I'm pretty excited."
