It started out as a cool perk pack for people who attended the Heroes of the Dorm competition in March. But Blizzard has now added a special Azmodan skin to the store.

In a post on the official Heroes of the Storm site, Blizzard reveals Azmodunk, the new legendary look for Diablo 3 demon, is now available to everyone. 

"In the deepest recesses of the Inferno lies the Burning Court, a realm with a single edict set by the first Hoop-Lord: 'Thou shalt slam with the best, or thou jammest with the rest.' Now, you can take the field as the Burning Hells’ most fiendish playmaker. Azmodunk has come the Nexus to dunk on fools and celebrate Heroes of the Dorm. Dominate the opposition with devilish flair and slick, hellish moves, fill the lanes with an endless stream of demonic ballers, then crush the other team’s feeble defense and send them back to the bench crying for mercy!"

Azmodunk comes with three color variations and a special banner mount. The third color variation and the mount will bear the colors of Arizona State University, winners of this year’s Heroes of the Dorm competition. While the Lord of Sin gets no new special abilities, all his existing ones are tied to the new basketball theme.

The video accompanying the announcement touts the bad guy's new persona as Lard of the Dunk. 

The timing is probably purely coincidental, but the skin was released on the store the day before Kobe Bryant's last NBA game tonight.
