Back in September, Great America announced that it had teamed up with Electronic Arts and BioWare for a Mass Effect ride at its California theme Park. Not much more had been said about the ride ... until now.

Billed as a 4D holographic journey, Mass Effect: New Earth is supposed to open sometime this spring. The commercial doesn;t really show too much other than to get the adrenaline going for what appears to be a fast-paced attraction. If it is similar to other special effects rides or theater shows, you'll be riding through with 3D glasses and getting sprayed with water or air blasts to make you feel you art part of the actual experience.

Still no clue yeton how this ties into the Mass Effect universe, but maybe we'll go to bring back a first-hand report.
