Mass Effect: Andromeda gameplay leak shows off jetpacks

It appears we're going to be able to enjoy some more mobility thanks to the inclusion of a jetpack.

Mass Effect: Andromeda made it’s official debut at E3 2015, but today, we’re hearing reports of possible gameplay footage leaked online, giving fans of the series an early look at BioWare’s upcoming title.

The footage was discovered by NeoGAF user Taker34, who claims it was found as a demo reel on a website of an unnamed developer currently working on Mass Effect: Andromeda. The original video upload was taken down, although it eventually made its way online again.

The video shows a number of improvements that have been made to the game, including visual effects, as well as the introduction of a jetpack. A GIF of the jetpack was created, which you can see for yourself below:

While the visuals may not be as impressive as we’d expect from a new Mass Effect game, it should be noted this particular demo reel was taken from the 2014 build. So don’t go expecting Andromeda to look so plain when it’s released.

Compass on the top makes it look like they took the DA:I route with this one. I actually enjoyed that game but the amount of filler content was kind of overwhelming. This may make it a bit more fun with the third person cover shooter mechanics though.
