Mirror's Edge Catalyst's new gameplay trailer focuses on Faith's movements
Faith is an extremely capable free runner, and it's made even more evident in Catalyst's new trailer.
EA and DICE have released a new trailer for Mirror’s Edge Catalyst that takes a look at Faith’s incredible free running abilities in the game.
The Movement trailer shows Faith jumping across various rooftops, inside of buildings, on top of canopies, and even doing a bit of wall running. It appears Faith’s free running abilities have received a major improvement when compared to the original Mirror’s Edge as he movements seem to be a lot more fluid and crisp.
We were introduced to the story of Mirror’s Edge Catalyst just last month in a new trailer, as well as learned a beta will be taking place on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. We still don’t know what the beta will include, nor do we know when it’ll release. Considering the game is expected to release in May, we’re sure the beta is just a few weeks away from being released.

to be fair, those games are trying to make the movements feel trivial and easy as the game is ultimately about something else. Mirror's Edge was trying to make some of those movements be hard (in stark contrast to Assassin's Creed 1 from around the same time). Titanfall isn't laying out puzzle rooms to use their movement controls, Mirror's Edge was.
