EA Sports UFC 2 creative director discusses new features, knockouts, game modes, and more
EA Sports UFC 2 is getting ready to enter the octagon and we spoke to the game's creative director, Brian Hayes, about what kind of improvements we can expect from the last game.
While we know Ronda Rousey and Conor McGregor will grace the cover of EA Sports UFC 2, we don’t know much about the game outside of it offering an all-new Knockout Physics System and will introduce the largest roster of real-world MMA fighters ever assembled in a single game. That’s why we took the opportunity to chat with the game’s creative director Brian Hayes about the upcoming game.
According to Hayes, there are five new game modes in UFC 2: UFC Ultimate Team; Live Events; Practice Mode; Knockout Mode; and Custom Events. The team behind the game want to make sure all players, whether they be a hypercompetitive online player or a casual player, will be able to enjoy their experience with it.
Hayes talks more about the game’s new features, such as the new Knockout Physics System and Dynamic Grappling, in our interview below.
EA Sports UFC 2 is scheduled to release on March 15, 2016.
