Hot on the heels of its February update, Microsoft has revealed features it plans on rolling out in the March update for its Xbox One and the Xbox app, which will first become available to Xbox Preview members starting tomorrow.

The Xbox March update will allow Xbox One owners to purchase Xbox 360 backwards compatible games directly from the console, include Party Chat within a user’s Twitch broadcast and output Party Chat to your headset and speakers at the same time. Users can also customize their Game DVR recording length, track achievement progress from the Xbox One guide, and watch videos directly from the Xbox One Activity Feed.

Both the Xbox One and Xbox app will support 16-person Party Chat, the ability to view Xbox 360 achievements, follow links and YouTube videos from Game Hubs, compare avatars, and offer changes to the Reputation system to only draw attention to players who have been rated as “needs work” or “avoid me”.

These changes will first be made available to Xbox One preview members starting tomorrow. Microsoft has yet to reveal when these changes will be made available to everyone else.
