Elite Dangerous: Arena offers CQC PvP space dogfights starting today
Look out, X-Wing vs. Tie Fighter!
Frontier has announced and launched Elite Dangerous: Arena onto PC.
Elite Dangerous: Arena allows players to take part in first-person dogfights within 3D space arenas. The game features easy-to-pick-up controls, although it also provides more depth for those who take their dogfights serious, and offers Close Quarter Combat (CQC) PvP as a standalone release.
Even though it’s a standalone release, players can take advantage of its full cross-compatibility with the large and growing Elite Dangerous player community.
Players can expect to pilot four agile, combat-honed spaceships each offering multiple tactile options with custom loadouts, which can be unlocked by ranking up. A total of four arenas will be available with three game modes: 8-player free-for-all, Team Deathmatch, and Capture the Flag.
Elite Dangerous: Arena is now available to purchase for $7.49.
