The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth won't be available on iOS due to depicting child abuse
Isaac will just have to continue getting abused on every other platform.
The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth will not be entering the wonderful world of iOS games, developer Nicalis revealed over the weekend.
Nicalis founder Tyrone Rodriguez tweeted out an image of Apple’s official rejection of The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth from being added to the iOS App Store. The reason Apple gives for denying its addition is due to the game containing content or features “that depict violence towards, or abuse of, children.”
While we acknowledge The Binding of Isaac may have just a hint of abuse towards its protagonist, Isaac, it isn’t as outright as a game that would focus squarely on abusing children would be. Even Nintendo, who is all about family-friendly gaming, overturned its block of the game after a number of years. So even though The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth was denied on the App Store right now, Apple could change its mind some time down the road.

Ok, Apple. This is silly. Appeal that shit. There are age ratings on the App Store now, and this is a good case for them.
But really, if you take out the intro where Mom tries to kill Isaac it doesn't really have that flavor anymore. And then it's still a fun game about a masochist child that cries on poop.
