Update: EA has released a new story trailer for Mirror's Edge Catalyst, which we've included below.

Mirror’s Edge Catalyst will be getting a closed beta.

Earlier today, the Mirror’s Edge Twitter account teased an upcoming announcement, although it appears we didn’t have to wait until 9am PT to learn the title will have a closed beta thanks to its sign up page popping up prior to its official reveal.

The Mirror’s Edge Catalyst Closed Beta will be available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and on Origin for PC. In order to participate, players will need an EA account to sign up for the beta.

Upon signing up, players will not have any progress from the beta transfer into Mirror’s Edge Catalyst when it releases.
