Zelda: Twilight Princess HD includes 'many' upgrades to the original
These upgrades includes a new item, a new game mode, and several uses for the Wii U GamePad.
While we’re all expecting The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD to offer some improved visuals to the classic game, Nintendo has pointed out the title will feature “many” upgrades, such as the Ghost Lantern, and a new game mode.
The Ghost Lantern is a new item which will glow when Link is in the same area as a Poe. This item makes Poe soul-retrieving quests much easier to complete.
A new game mode, called Hero Mode, challenges players to complete the game while taking double the amount of damage and without the safety net of picking up heart drops. Also, when Link finds Rupees in a treasure chest when his wallet is already full, the Rupees will no longer be returned to that chest. Thankfully, Link’s wallet has been modified to hold more Rupees.
Additional improvements includes the use of the Wii U GamePad controller to access their map and inventory at all times, transforming into a wolf with one tap, and easy access to Miiverse. The game can also be played completely off-TV on the GamePad.
Nintendo has more updates in place for Twilight Princess HD, but the company wants players to discover them as they play. Maybe we can expect a cameo from Linkle?

Looks like the playable build that was sent out has been improved graphically as well? It seems most media outlets were happy with the visuals compared to the trailers.
