Heroes of the Storm Has Introduced A New Rank 1 Matchmaking Rule

It looks like there's another new Heroes of the Storm announcement floating around out there. Today Blizzard has announced an improvement that's been made to the Heroes of the Storm matchmaker that should aid players in finding competitive matches.

It seems as though there was a bit of an issue where players with high matchmaking ratings were being matched with lower-ranked players, and this alteration is meant to cut down on that by a vast amount. There's more to the news, however, with an improvement meant to tighten up the range of skill that Rank 1 players are matched against. This means, as the official forum post puts it, Rank 1 players will now be more consistently matched with and against others between Ranks 1-4.

Hopefully if you're a big Heroes of the Storm player this'll change matchmaking for you in a major way.
