Oculus Kickstarter backers must claim free Rift by January 31
You better claim it... or get ready to shell out a little more cash in the name of virtual reality.
Those who were eager enough to back Oculus on kickstarter all those many years ago were pleased to hear that they were going to be given a free Oculus Rift upon the device's consumer release. But like any good thing, deadlines are approaching, and according to a tweet by Brendan Iribe, the CEO of Oculus, you're going to want to make sure you claim that free Rift by tomorrow, January 31 at 11:59PM EST.
Important reminder -- Kickstarter backers must claim their free Rift by tomorrow 1/31 11:59pm EST.

That means you have roughly twenty-four hours to claim your free entrance into the world of consumer virtual reality, or you'll need to shell out some more cash in the name of Oculus Rift to get in on the preorders. It's a pretty common thing to have deadlines, so we hope none of you have missed out on this little reward for your loyalty in the early days of virtual reality.
