Valkyria Chronicles Remastered sets a course for spring 2016
Valkyria Chronicles is preparing itself for battle this spring.
SEGA has announced Valkyria Chronicles Remastered is coming to the US in Spring 2016.
The title will feature 1080p/60fps gameplay, all within its iconic HD Canvas Graphics Engine and BLiTZ tactical battle system. It will also include all previously-released downloadable content, including Hard EX Mode, Edy’s Mission, Selvaria's Mission, and Challenge of the Edy Detachment.
Valkyria Chronicles Remastered will be released both physically and digitally this spring, with those pre-ordering the physical version receiving a special Squad 7 Armored Case. The case will also be available with limited first run copies, so you can still pick it up if you’re quick enough.
Valkyria Chronicles Remastered will retail for $29.99.

so, whats the deal with this compared to the PC version? is this intended to bring the old console versions up to the new consoles AKA the PC version? or is this gonna see a PC release as well? i dont know. i have VC on steam but havent gotten around to playing it yet, should i just wait for this to come out or is the PC version already basically the remastered version?

"Remastered" is just marketing speak though. It doesn't sound like there's anything in this remaster that isn't already present in the PC version.

The current PC port is really damn good, I'd say just play that if you're in the mood for this kind of game.

Yea I don't watch videos 99% of the time (it's not something you can really do while you're stuck on conference calls). It would be nice if he could mention it in the writeup.

If you have a decent computer you may as well get it now on PC, because unless they're keeping something secret it's exactly the same on PS4.
