Microsoft is Holding An Xbox and Windows 10 Media Event This February
News coming out ahead of E3? Microsoft-tacular!
Curious about what Microsoft has up its sleeve for the future? The company is planning a special spring showcase in the form of a media event on February 26 to keep us in the loop. Taking place in San Francisco, Phil Spencer will head up the event, which offers hands-on time with both "games and platform experiences" we'll be seeing this spring on Xbox and Windows 10.
Microsoft is working ahead of the curve to bring us a taste of what it has to offer later in the year, so we'll likely end up seeing additional social features, new games, and more tweaks to Windows 10 and both platforms' gaming capabilities. Either way, it's nice to get a glimpse into what's coming ahead of E3.

I wonder if this where we will supposedly see the fruit of the whole unification of the Xbox and Windows gaming. The cynical side of me says the PC side will probably be DX12 technical event with some minor attention on ports and VR. Then it would be nice to see some new games announced. It would be even more nice to see some of these new games with cross platform multiplayer which MS all but gave up years ago.
