Nab Some Deals In This Upcoming Xbox Live Sale

In a total Steam move, Microsoft is launching what it's calling the "biggest digital game sale" of the year for Xbox owners. Officially, it's the "Countdown" sale, and it's set to run December 22 through January 7, just in case you get any holiday cash that starts burning a hole in your pocket.

Head into the new year with tons of new games in your digital stores, with over 200 deals that'll be offered during the sale. Discounts are said to range between 40 and 60% off titles, with daily and weekly deals on Xbox One, Xbox 360, and Windows 10 PC titles.

While there's no word yet on which games will be going on sale, it sounds like there might be some decent sales at the very least. Are you planning on dropping some cash during the "Countdown" event?
