Dying Light: The Following releases on Feb. 9, 2016 along with enhanced edition
Dying Light is about to get a whole lot better come February.
Techland has announced Dying Light: The Following - Enhanced Edition is scheduled to be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on February 9th, 2016.
The game will include an enhanced version of the original Dying Light, The Following expansion pack, all previously-released downloadable content, including The Bozak Horde mode, the Be the Zombie mode, the Cuisine & Cargo challenge missions, and the Ultimate Survivor Bundle, and all content updates released to date.
“We didn’t want to follow a beaten track and just re-release our game in a new wrapping with the current DLC added on," explains Maciej Binkowski, lead game designer. “That’s why for the last half year we’ve been working on a ton of enhancements that we’re now going to make available to everyone. We’re adding bonus post-game content, a Nightmare difficulty level, nearly 100 new animations, new NPC models, advanced AI behaviors, and more. One year after the original release, Dying Light will be even bigger.”
In addition to Binkowski’s statement, the reveal trailer also mentions the addition of Legend Levels, new parkour moves, a bounties system, a greater variety in firearms, new enemy attacks & behaviors, console performance upgrades, and more.
Dying Light: The Following - Enhanced Edition will release on February 9th, 2016 on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 for $59.99. Those who own Dying Light will receive all of the mentioned improvements and would just need to purchase The Following separately if they want to enjoy the complete package.
