Hyrule Warriors Legends' Linkle gameplay trailer highlights dual-bowgun action
Linkle appears to be more than just a female version of Link as she is able to dispense some serious pain in this new trailer. Just don't call her Zelda.
Nintendo introduced what appears to be a female version of Link, named Linkle, a few weeks ago for its upcoming Hyrule Warriors Legends. Today, Koei Tecmo released a new trailer for the game that focuses squarely on Linkle and her dual-bowgun action.
The new trailer starts off with Linkle preparing for her upcoming battle by equipping two bowguns, a green tunic, and a compass. Her moves appear to rely heavily on the use of her bowguns as well as some acrobatics. Linkle can easily dispose of a large group with her basic attacks, although her super attacks can either cause her enemies to gather together and be stunned or she can throw a large bomb onto the battlefield.
Linkle isn’t the only new character expected to be made available in Hyrule Warriors Legends as Toon Link, Tetra, and King of Red Lions will also join the fight. Most importantly, those who own Hyrule Warriors on Wii U will be able to play as the new Heroes from Hyrule Warriors Legends on the console.
Hyrule Legends Warriors is scheduled to release on the Nintendo 3DS on March 25, 2016.
