Bloodborne introduces The League and co-op NPC hunters in upcoming update
From Software has some big plans for Bloodborne fans prior to the release of The Old Hunters.
Sony has announced Bloodborne will be receiving a major update for all users that will offer a number of improvements and new features to the game, which includes The League, additional co-op NPC hunters, and more.
The League is a special band of Hunters who have taken an oath to assist other players online as they make their way through the mysterious town of Yharnam and its surrounding areas. Hunters will be able to compete in The League’s online rankings leaderboard, although it hasn’t been revealed how exactly they’ll be able to rise in its ranks. A special The League cane can be used to summon co-op NPCs within the game, which will be helpful for fighting through challenging areas and bosses.
From Software has also announced a special reward for Bloodborne Platinum Trophy holders. The studio will begin sending out voucher codes in the near future for an exclusive PlayStation 4 theme that won’t be available anywhere else.
Bloodborne The Old Hunters will be released on November 24 with a Game of the Year Edition releasing the following day. The GOTY Edition features the original game as well as The Old Hunters expansion.
