Rise of the Tomb Raider trailer highlights Lara's combat versatility
Lara Croft may not be the Tomb Raider yet, but she sure does know how to fight when she needs to.
Crystal Dynamics debuted the first episode of a special series it's calling Woman Vs. Wild which focused on Lara surviving harsh environments, as well as dangerous wildlife. Today, a new video in the Woman Vs. Wild series has been released that takes a look a Lara’s new combat skills and tools that are at her disposal in Rise of the Tomb Raider.
In today’s video, we see Lara will have a wide variety of options to complete each objective. She can take a non-lethal approach that will have her sticking to the shadows and out of harm’s reach, a gun’s blazing approach that can waste a lot of resources that are already scarce, or use the environment to her advantage.
The video also introduces us to the game’s upgrade system, which includes skill trees in the Brawler, Hunter, and Survivors trees, and its crafting system.
Rise of the Tomb Raider is scheduled to release on November 10 on Xbox One, PC in early 2016, and PlayStation 4 in holiday 2016.

So it sounds like you can stealth/non-lethal your way through some combat but eventually run into a big action set piece where you have to go all Rambo on the enemy. Looks like they made some good improvements from the previous game. I am really excited to see the last video and see how they flesh out the exploration angle.

They seem to not be able to get her face right... again.
Tomb raider non definitive edition had a Lara with a very expresive face. That didnt appear to have undergone some serious facial plastic surgery.
And this one... looks kind of dead, inexpresive. Although its much much better than the "definitive" edition, no plastic surgery addict this time. -
