Square Enix producer Yoshinori Kitase has revealed Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII will be available on PC some time in December.

Yoshinori-san made the announcement via the game’s official Twitter account, saying the game is in its late stages of development and is close to being complete. Unfortunately for fans of the series, he didn’t give an exact release date, although he promises more details will be announced once they’re finalized.

Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII released in early 2014 on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. As much as we’re sure PC owners appreciate it being developed for their gaming platform of choice, waiting nearly two nears for it can cause excitement for it to fade a bit. Hopefully Square Enix will be able to get it released by the end of 2015.
