Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 has had a lot of issues since it launched this week. The game is riddled with bugs, glitches, and performance issues, and today, Activision has released a statement regarding these issues.

In a statement sent to Shacknews, Activision says it’s “aware of the issues that players have experienced following the launch of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 and are working with the developer to address these so that we can continue to improve the gameplay experience for all of the Tony Hawk fans who have known and loved this franchise for more than 16 years.”

While we’re sure fans of the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater series appreciate Activision looking into the issues the game has had since its launch, it makes us wonder how so many bugs made it into the finished product. Regardless, it’s good to see Activision is working on these issues.

"we're working with the developer, that we forced to push the game out before it was ready, to eliminate the bugs and improve performance. Because we saw what happened with Batman Arkham Knight on the PC and we wanted in on that action"
