The Witcher 3 patch 1.09 will offer 'massive' changes
CD Projekt Red has revealed The Witcher 3's next patch will offer 'massive' changes to the game.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt patch 1.09 is currently on the way and will offer a “massive” list of changes to the game.
CD Projekt Red community lead Marcin Momot took to the developer’s official forums to respond to questions about the upcoming patch. “The patch is on the way,” he says. “Was just looking at the changelog and it looks really impressive - the list of changes is massive. The update will bring a lot of fixes and improvements including PS4 performance (as well as other platforms) plus many more.”
Patch 1.08 was released across all platforms in late July and featured quite a list of improvements to both its performance and gameplay.
The only other details Momot revealed was a tease of 1.09’s chaneglog wouldn’t be posted prior to October. Speaking of October, the first piece of story-based DLC, Hearts of Stone, is scheduled to release on October 13. Hopefully patch 1.09 will also be introduced around that time.

Look at patch notes for 1.04 console, 1.05 PC, fonts increased 20-30% larger. I distinctly remember because I couldn't even read them on my 60 from where I sit and had to wait for this patch to play because I like to read all the notes and books to immerse myself in lore. These days I still have to strain but I can at least read it when I squint. Yeah I agree though it should still be larger on console. I think the PC guys were complaining it got too large on there though.
