Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition gets delayed, according to Amazon [Update: Confirmed!]
According to Amazon's listing for Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition, it appears the game is now slated for a late October release.
[Update: Nordic Games has confirmed with Shacknews Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition will now release on October 27, as Amazon and other retailers have suggested.]
Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition might have been delayed as Amazon is now listing the game for an October 27 release, instead of its originally scheduled release date of October 6.
As of now, we have yet to receive confirmation from either Nordic Games or Gunfire Games regarding the possible delay. We have reached out to both companies to verify whether or not Amazon’s listing is accurate.
Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition will include the original Darksiders 2 along with all of its previously-released downloadable content, including the Maker Armor Set, The Abyssal Forge, The Demon Lord Belial, Death Rides, Angel of Death, Deadly Despair, Shadow of Death, Mortis Pack, Rusanov's Axe, Van Der Schmash Hammer, Fletcher's Crow Hammer, Mace Maximus, and Argul's Tomb.
The game will feature a number of visual improvements, will run in native 1080p, and offer adjustments to game balancing and loot distribution.
