Rock Band 4 will feature select tracks from U2, making this the first time the band's music has ever been included in a video game.

Harmonix and Mad Catz Interactive have announced U2 will be making its video game debut in Rock Band 4.

Two tracks from U2’s vast library of music will be included in Rock Band 4: “Cedarwood Road” from its current album Songs of Innocence and “I Will Follow” from their debut album Boy. These two tracks are only the beginning as additional U2 songs will be added to the in-game Music Store to download after launch.

Harmonix has released a new trailer for the game featuring both “I Will Follow” and “Cedarwood Road” in Rock Band 4, which you can view below.

it'd be cool if they added a feature for owners of the game that they could find a setting like 2 or 3 menus deep where they could have a blacklist of songs or artists that won't appear so guests won't pick them.

      They chose those songs? Pity.

I guess makes sense from a business perspective, given the songs people demand will be paid DLC.
