Oculus VR and Microsoft have announced Minecraft will be available on the Oculus Rift in spring 2016.

The version of Minecraft that will be made available on Oculus Rift is the Windows 10 version, which hasn't exactly had the best launch so far. Its spring 2016 expected release date indicates that we should expect the game to be available on the Rift either at its launch or shortly after, depending on where in Q1 the headset releases.

It's interesting to hear Minecraft will land on the Oculus Rift considering Microsoft announced the game will work with its own headset, the HoloLens. While we know both experiences would be largely different, we're curious to see what kind differences both versions will have.
