TGS 2015: Project Morpheus is now officially PlayStation VR
Project Morpheus is now Morpheus no more. At Tokyo Game Show 2015, Sony has announced that the VR headset has been renamed to PlayStation VR.
PlayStation's virtual reality headset has been referred to by Project Morpheus to this point. That will no longer be the case. During today's Tokyo Game Show presentation, Sony has officially changed the name of the headset to the much brand-friendlier PlayStation VR.
While a release date has yet to be revealed, Sony is upping its efforts to make the former Morpheus more appealing to worldwide audiences. The headset will have a large presence at this year's Tokyo Game Show, with several demos available, including one for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn.
If new details come in, Shacknews wil be right on top of them. In the meantime, here's a new video to check out below.

I'm still not convinced that VR will innovate gameing in any way in the immediate future. What Sony should have done is revamp PS Home as a totally VR social area and worry about games later.
I thing the excitement of FPS games on VR will very quickly fade once latency of the headgear(along with your typical network lag) rears it's ugly head. Unless it's a complete 1:1 ratio,I just feel like it's not going to be worth it. -
More interestingly, their minimum is now 90Hz instead of 60. 120 is still maximum.
That's big news, wonder how easy it is to hit with the PS4.
