Update: As promised, here's the full recap for this morning's Tokyo Game Show 2015 press conference from Sony.

• There were many huge games that Sony could have kicked the press conference off with, but for the Japanese audience, the company opted for Bloodborne, the PS4-exclusive from the folks at From Software. The game is now set to get its first expansion in the form of The Old Hunters.
• Next up was Hot Shots Golf, with Sony revealing footage of a new installment in the series. It's tentatively titled New Hot Shots Golf. No information on a North American release is available just yet, but in the meantime, check out the trailer.
• Gravity Rush is making a return with a new remastered edition. Gravity Rush Remastered will come with the base game and all three of its DLC packs, with Sony also announcing that a sequel is coming soon. Japan is set to get Gravity Rush Remastered in December and Gravity Rush 2 in 2016. As for North American users, a February 9 release date was issued for Gravity Rush Remastered with no word on when the sequel will see the light of day in the U.S.
• A new Hero was unveiled for Ubisoft's upcoming multiplayer game, For Honor. The Oni will bring a sharp katana to the battlefield, with the ability to poison it for extra damage, throw kunai at unsuspecting opponents, or overwhelm the opposition with an Arrow Storm. Catch this new trailer below.
• It shouldn't surprise anyone that Assassin's Creed Syndicate is getting some robust Season Pass content and it probably won't surprise anyone that Ubisoft is already looking ahead to the first piece of content. Given the time period the game is set in, one might have guessed that the first DLC will feature Jack the Ripper. More information on this new DLC campaign is forthcoming.
• Sega is devoted to delivering the Yakuza franchise to its fans in Japan, but with the PS4 hardware as powerful as it is, the development now feels they can deliver the original Yakuza experience as it was meant to be played. Yakuza Kiwimi will bring a remastered Yakuza to PS4 and PS3 to Japanese users later this year, with an all-new PS4-exclusive Yakuza 6 announced for 2016. No word on a North American release.
• The next announcements came fast and furious, the first of which came from a brief teaser from SNK Playmore. King of Fighters is set to return with The King of Fighters XIV, announced for PlayStation 4 in 2016.
• Bandai Namco took the stage next to announce some of the next big installments of their anime franchises. First up was One Piece: Burning Blood, showing more of the bombastic Dynasty Warriors-style action that the series has become known for. That game is set to hit PlayStation 4 and Vita in 2016. Next was a new installment in the Mobile Suit Gundam series called Extreme Vs. Force, which is aiming for a 2016 release on Vita.
• Next was Tecmo Koei, coming to the stage to reveal some of its new games. One of those games was a huge surprise, as Ni-Oh is apparently hitting PS4 in 2016. Wired was first to recall that Ni-Oh was actually a PlayStation 3 launch title that never saw the light of day. Now it's apparently ready for a PS4 release in Japan, though whether it'll appear in the U.S. remains to be seen.
• In non-vaporware news, Tecmo Koei went on to announce Toukiden, a sequel to the monster hunting action game, Toukiden: The Age of Demons, which released on Vita in early 2014. That sequel looks to be coming in 2016, though platform availability and a U.S. release have not yet been determined.
• Next came Square Enix, which surprisingly did not come with new Final Fantasy XV details. No, Square instead showed a new trailer for World of Final Fantasy, which is still in line for a 2016 release.
• Other Square Enix games presented include Star Ocean 5: Integrity and Faithlessness, which is the latest in that series. Plus, a first trailer was released for SaGA Scarlet Grace, which is set to hit Vita in 2016. No word on whether these will come to the U.S.
• But Square saved its most exciting announcement for last. No, it wasn't Kingdom Hearts 3, but given that there have been remasters for the series all over the place, it's only appropriate that the final pieces leading up to the third game get the same treatment. So get ready for Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, which will include the remaster of Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance, along with Kingdom Hearts X Back Cover (Nope. Never heard of this one.) and Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep -A Fragmentary Passage-, which appears to follow Aqua after the events of Birth by Sleep. This is expected to arrive next year, which should add fuel to the rumors that there is zero chance Kingdom Hearts 3 is releasing in 2016.
• Resident Evil has a 20th anniversary to celebrate next year, but the game that was announced was definitely not Resident Evil 7. No, instead, it's a "competitive shooter" called Resident Evil: Umbrella Corps.
• A new game in the Danganropa series was announced and it looks to continue the series' visual novel style. The game is called New Danganropa V3 and is coming soon to PS4 and Vita in Japan. No word on an American version.
• Square Enix returned to talk briefly about Dragon Quest Heroes II, which is still in development. But that segued into the reveal for a new Minecraft-inspired RPG called Dragon Quest Builders, which is set to release in Japan this coming January. Whether it'll come to the U.S. remains to be seen, given how hard it seems to be to get a Dragon Quest game out to these parts.
• PlayStation 4 will soon be customizable, with nine different-colored PS4 faceplates unveiled. Pre-orders are set to begin today in Japan. Also, four new color variants for the DualShock 4 were unveiled, with Gold, Silver, Steel Black, and Crystal variants shown off for the first time. Look for more information on these soon, as they'll most likely make their way to North American sooner than later.
• And finally, Morpheus is no more. The name, anyway. The virtual reality headset will now go by the name PlayStation VR.
