Grand Theft Auto 5 getting completely random and chaotic Freemode next week
Do you like your Grand Theft Auto 5 online experience to be more random? Then you need to check out next week's Freemode Events.
Rockstar has announced Freemode Events will be making their way to Grand Theft Auto Online starting on September 15 that gives players access to a range of seamlessly integrated games and challenges.
In Freemode, players will be put into a GTA Online game session with friends, crewmates, rivals, and randoms where spontaneous new games and challenges will pop up. There are no menus, no lobbies, and no load times. Events kick off at any time, although players can customize their session to dictate just how often they occur. One such event, called Hunt the Beast, picks one volunteer and temporarily transforms them into a faster, stronger, beastly character who needs to escape their pursuers. Another, called King of the Castle, is a turf war where players need to ascend and claim the designated castle as their territory.
Next week’s update also includes two new Adversary Modes: Hunting Pack and Cross the Line. Hunting Pack tasks a team to deliver a priority vehicle rigged to explode so long as it doesn’t drop below a minimum speed, while opponents do all they can to slow down the vehicle. Cross the Line has two heavily-armed teams fighting across a neutral zone where the goal is to have all team members penetrate the opponent’s territory.
