Microsoft has teased a “mission briefing” for Halo 5: Guardians that will be made available later today.

The tease was published on the official Xbox Twitter account, where the company reminds us we’re just two months away from Halo 5’s release. It then continues to say “in 24 hours, mission briefing. Check back soon.” At the end of the message, there’s a link to the Xbox YouTube page, which we assume is where we’ll be presented with this mission briefing.

The message went out last night at 10pm ET, which means we should expect this mission briefing to happen around the same time this evening. In the meantime, Microsoft released the following GIF to prepare us for this evening’s festivities.

Microsoft has already given us some information regarding Halo 5's story as we were introduced to new Spartans as we also were introduced to both sides of its story. The story behind Halo 5: Guardians seems to be a complex one, so we're looking forward to learning more about it later today.
